What I Mean by Embodied Awakening

September 29, 2026•2 min read

For the longest time, I've struggled to clearly communicate the work that I do and what it is that I share. Now I see why.

I find it fascinating how skilled our minds are at hiding the parts of our experience that we want to avoid, creating a version of reality that conveniently excludes anything that may shed light on what has been hidden beneath the surface. But no matter how hidden it may be, it's still there, quietly shaping our experience.

As I continue to live the teachings in my own life, the layers that have been clouding my ability to clearly communicate my work have revealed themselves. And through the processing and integration of these old energies, the clarity I've been seeking has naturally emerged.

I support the process of Embodied Awakening through presence, inquiry, and integration.

So what does that mean?

Awakening is a word that means many different things to many different people. I'm not here to debate what awakening means, but I can tell you what it means to me.

Awakening is the recognition of the deeper truth of who we are. The deeper sense of “I” that exists beyond the thoughts, emotions, beliefs, and conditioning that we typically define as “me". Our true essence, beyond the personality that's unaffected by the experiences of life.

Embodied Awakening is living from this place of truth as we navigate the human experience. It is being fully present with our experience and meeting it with openness and curiosity. Not engaging with any story, including every emotion and sensation, and allowing the deeper wisdom within our experience to reveal itself. Living from this truth allows us to experience greater peace, fulfillment, and freedom from suffering.

So ultimately, I support the process of recognizing that which is true within yourself through your own experience, and support the integration of the old unconscious material that may be clouding that recognition and shaping your life experience.

This is the work I support and share, and what I'll be exploring more deeply in the weeks and months ahead.

If this resonates with something you're exploring in your own life, I'd love to hear from you.
