Finding Peace Before Understanding

Life is a mystery, and it's usually not until events are behind us that we begin to see their wisdom. But rest assured, it's there.

I've struggled in the past with wanting to understand why. Why is this happening to me? Why do I need to suffer so much? I wanted to make meaning of it all, but this only led to more suffering.

When I began this journey into the present moment and started meeting my experience with openness and curiosity, it wasn't long before I began to recognize the wisdom within the experiences in my life.

As I began to live from and embody more presence, especially during challenging moments, I began to see the opportunity each challenge provided. And as I stopped resisting and allowed those experiences, without engaging in the story, fully feeling the emotions and sensations, I began to see beneath the surface and into the roots of my suffering.

At first, I saw this in the smaller events, and as I continued to meet life in this way my capacity to meet more and more of my experience grew, and the larger events began to reveal their wisdom. This allowed the clarity and understanding I had been seeking to naturally emerged. Through this process, my life began to change, and I began to experience more peace and less suffering.

Over time, I've learned to trust this knowing. When life presents a challenge, I know at a deep level that it is here to serve me, and with that comes peace, even when my experience is challenging. Even when there's no clarity or understanding of why.

Every challenge offers a window into ourselves to see where we may be holding on to a past that no longer serves us, a path to realizing our greater potential, and an invitation to know ourselves at a deeper level.

When we meet life in this way, we no longer need to postpone our peace until all the problems are solved or until there are no more challenges in life. We can deepen into the peace that is available to us in every moment.
